Dear Members,

I want to thank the Vernon Crawford Bay Area Bar Association (VCBABA) and the planning committee of President Ricardo Woods, Latisha Davis, Judge Sonja Bivens, Judge Shellbonnie Hall, and Karlos Finley for the hospitality extended to ALA members and guest during the Carnival in the Port City Mardi Gras events…great planning and high quality events!

We were welcome on Friday, February 28th with a Meet & Greet Luncheon. We then had CLEs with fantastic presenters who presented both the plaintiff and defense positions. We attended the MAMGA Ball Friday night which was a great party event. On Saturday we attended the Judge Cain Kennedy Scholarship Luncheon in which the President of the Alabama State Bar, Anthony Joseph, was the keynote speaker and we attended the parade viewing and social event hosted by Henderson Court Reporting.
