Sponsored by: ALA & Young Lawyers Section of the Alabama State Bar
This event allows minority high school students to obtain valuable information about pursing a legal career. Students receive information regarding the requirements for gaining admission to law school, listen to panel discussions on the various careers available to persons with a juris doctorate, watch a mock trial and deliberate on the verdict, get advice from attorneys in a small group session and network with students who have similar ambitions.
The event will be held on April 4 in Huntsville, on April 9 in Montgomery and onApril 17 in Birmingham. You can help with this event by volunteering your time to either serve on a panel to discuss your daily life as an attorney, participating in the mock trial program, or talking with students during small group sessions.
Please contact Marcus Maples at mmaples@sirote.com to volunteer.
