The Alabama Lawyers Association Annual Meeting & Retreat will be held May 29th – June 1st at the beautiful Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Sandestin, Florida registration is now open online. The deadline for regular registration and for the ALA housing accommodation rate is April 29th. Because another large event is occurring the same weekend, housing is filling up quickly. I urge you to make your housing reservations now. The Alabama Lawyers Association (ALA) is excited to inform you of our 3rd Annual Hall of Fame Dinner & Gala – A Black Tie Event. The event honors lawyers from the State of Alabama who have practiced for more than twenty five years and have made significant contributions to the cause of justice.
The 2014 Honorees are: Honorable J. Richmond Pearson, Julian Mason Davis Jr., and the late J. L. Chestnut Jr., Vernon Z. Crawford and Honorable Michael A. Figures.
The Hall of Fame Dinner & Gala will be held at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Sandestin, Florida on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. We request your participation and sponsorship of the event. Attached find the Sponsorship Package with details of the sponsorship and participation opportunities and benefits.
A souvenir booklet will be developed to showcase the Hall of Fame inductees and allow law firms, businesses, and individuals to congratulate the recipients and/or advertise. The deadline to be included in the booklet is April 25, 2014. Funds must be received by April 25, 2014.
We use sponsorship monies to help with law student programs and to grant stipends and/or scholarships to deserving law students to assist them in pursuing their careers.
If you have not joined or renewed your membership, we encourage you to do so today. You may download a copy of the membership application from the ALA website or you may join online.
