National Bar Association Announces Collaboration with EBONY Magazine
The National Bar Association is pleased to announce a new initiative with Ebony Magazine. Ebony Magazine and Ebony.com have agreed to exclusively use NBA Members to respond to legal questions from its readers of the “Ask a Lawyer” segment of their publication. The members will also answer legal questions on the company’s website, AskALawyer.com. This initiative will give NBA Members a platform to publish columns and be a legal resource for the community.
In response to the collaboration, NBA President Patricia Rosier said, “It is very exciting to have these two historic organizations join forces to greater serve the community.”
Quoting Charles Coleman, the AskaLawyer.com Editor for Ebony, “This collaboration came to life upon our invitation to Attorney Benjamin Crump, who we consider one of the most influential lawyers in America today, to contribute his expertise in Civil Rights to our Ebony Magazine AskALawyer.com Column. He said that he would lend his name and legal acumen to this endeavor if Ebony agreed to exclusively use members of the National Bar Association to answer our readers’ questions.”
“I’m excited about the collaboration with Ebony Magazine and Ebony.com. It provides business development opportunities for our members, greater exposure and increases public awareness of the NBA, ” said Vice President Benjamin Crump.
